A patient opens the MedBridge app and describes their symptoms in natural language — by voice or text, instead of waiting in an 8am phone queue — then answers adaptive follow-up questions driven by a clinical large language model.
The assistant reviews the patient's medical history and asks focused follow-up questions to build a clear, structured picture of background, symptoms, duration and severity.
Based on the answers, patients are signposted to the appropriate next step — self-care, pharmacy, GP appointment, NHS 111, or 999 for emergencies. The platform structures the consult and drafts an assessment aligned to NICE guidance for clinician review. No autonomous diagnosis.
An online, remote GP consultation is provided within minutes. A GMC-registered UK clinician reviews, decides, prescribes if appropriate, or escalates.
